Convert State Name to State FIPS Code.

Usage:

stateToFIPS( stateName );

Converts the state name to the FIPS designation.
Name Type Options Opt/Req Description
stateName 50A Value Varying Req The state name to convert.
Returns: 3P 0 n/a n/a The FIPS code of the state name.
